By ferry to the Dutch Wadden Islands
If you want to visit one of the Dutch Wadden Islands then of course you take the ferry. The various ferries bring you quickly, safely and comfortably to your final destination on Texel, Vlieland, Terschelling, Ameland, Schiermonnikoog or the Marker Wadden. Hundreds of thousands of visitors annually make the crossing to one of the Wadden Islands. Besides passenger transport you can also take your car on almost every ferry. During the crossing you enjoy the beautiful nature around you.
Island hopping between the Dutch Wadden Islands
You can take the ferry from the mainland, but it is perhaps even more fun to cross from island to island. The so-called island hopping on the Wadden Islands is becoming increasingly popular. The islands that are most easily combined are Texel, Vlieland and Terschelling. Do you want to visit several islands? Spend a few days and book a hotel to stay overnight. The sea is too turbulent and the shipping channels are too winding to visit more than two islands a day.
